Drivethru Surfcamps in Sri Lanka is currently looking to add a Surf Coach to their surfing team for the period from October to April. The main responsibility of the coach will be to create a comprehensive weekly surf lesson plan catering to surfers of different skill levels, incorporating video analysis sessions. Additionally, the coach will be responsible for conducting surfing theory lessons for the guests.
The Surf Coach will play a vital role in supporting the local surf instructor team and will be available as a backup for surf lessons when needed. It will be essential for the coach to actively participate in the local surf instructors' lessons to maintain coaching standards and adhere to Drivethru Surfcamps' coaching philosophy.
Besides coaching, the Surf Coach will also act as a host during the guests' stays, ensuring their needs are met and providing a pleasant and enjoyable experience.
To be considered for this position, the ideal candidate must possess an ISA Level 1 Surf Coaching and Beach Lifeguard certificate. Additionally, having prior experience working in developing countries, particularly in Sri Lanka, will be highly advantageous.
