About the Opportunity
We are seeking a volunteer to join our team at Amado Surf Camp, located in the beautiful Carrapateira’s secluded valley in the South West of the Algarve, Portugal. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to be part of our surf school team from August 25th to November 10th.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a volunteer, your main responsibilities will include:
Preparing breakfast and cleaning up dishes after guests have finished
General cleaning of bathrooms, toilets, kitchen, and guest accommodations
Transporting guests to and from our beach hut and occasionally to restaurants and bars
Managing laundry
Ensuring the well-being of our guests
Being an active and sociable team member
Requirements
To be considered for this volunteer position, you should possess the following:
An interest in learning surfing.
Confident English skills, both spoken and understanding.
Any additional languages are a plus
A valid driver's license
A minimum commitment of 1 month
You will be required to work approximately 4 hours per day, but as you will be living with the guests, flexibility and a helpful attitude are essential.
What We Offer
In exchange for your time and dedication, we offer the following:
Surf lessons
You will have the opportunity to live in a social environment, either in a shared dorm or a private tent.
A full breakfast will be provided to ensure you have the energy for your day.
All other meals will be your own responsibility.
