Established for 8 years, El Ranchito Surf School is the first surf school in the area. We provide surf lessons for beginners and intermediate surfers, along with surfboard rentals and surf guiding services

Job Description:

We are seeking a Surf School Manager/Instructor Assistant to join our team for the upcoming season from December 2023 to April 2024. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with surf lessons and managing the surf school.

Requirements:

- Competent surfing ability on either a shortboard or longboard

- Minimum 1 year experience in teaching surf

- Lifeguard/swim coach/summer camp/sport coaching experience

- Fluent in English- Knowledge of German or French is a plus- Strong communication skillsResponsibilities:

- Teach surf lessons to absolute beginners- Assist with intermediate surf lessons

- Provide surf guiding services

- Prepare for surf lessons

- Manage surf rentals- Capture surfing pictures and videos

- Organize surf trips to other surf spots

- Sell surf lessons and surf trips- Perform simple maintenance work
