About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Flotilla Skipper to join our amazing Yacht Team in Greece. If you are passionate about sailing and ready to take on an exciting opportunity with BeyondBeach, we want to hear from you!

As a Flotilla Skipper, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a small fleet of yachts. Your main focus will be maintaining the highest standards and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our guests. This role involves a wide range of tasks including guest briefings, passage planning, weather forecasts, housekeeping, guest relations, safety checks, sailing support, risk assessments, emergency responses, maintenance, and organizing evening social activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all guests and staff onboard

- Maintain the presentation and upkeep of all yachts in your care

- Welcome and brief clients, ensuring they have the necessary safety information

- Regularly inspect equipment, especially safety gear, and ensure it is in good condition

- Check weather forecasts and plan routes accordingly, reporting to the Yacht Manager

- Complete weekly reports and conduct maintenance checks

- Coordinate guest meals and dietary requirements

- Handle guest feedback or complaints professionally and promptly

- Make essential decisions as the primary decision-maker on the Flotilla

Requirements

- Hold an RYA Yacht Master or RYA Day Skipper qualification

- Possess yacht maintenance skills and knowledge

- Have a strong awareness of safety systems and procedures

- Be approachable, sociable, and have excellent communication skills

- Demonstrate leadership abilities
