Are you a surfer looking for the perfect summer holiday job? Look no further! We are seeking enthusiastic and sporty team players to join our O'Neill Summercamps as Summercamp Instructors at the Dutch Coast.
About Us
For over 15 years, we have been organizing and hosting our Summercamps during the 6 weeks of the Dutch summer holiday. Our program offers a wide range of activities including wavesurfing, skating, DIY, rafting, Olympics, balance challenge, supping, theory, and many more fun activities!
Job Responsibilities
As a Summercamp Instructor, you will guide your own group of kids through a full day of activities from Monday to Friday. Your working hours will be from 08:00 – 18:00, including lunch and snacks. While you don't need to be the most skilled surfer out there, experience in teaching kids and the ability to surf down the line is a must. You will be responsible for setting learning goals, developing the program, and ensuring the quality of the training and lessons.
Main Duties
- Building up and breaking down the surfcamp on a daily basis
- Welcoming guests
- Guiding surf lessons and other camp activities for your own kids group
- Ensuring safety and quality standards
- Taking care of equipment maintenance, cleaning, and damage lists
- Ensuring safety on the beach and at sea

TUV Training Program
The Spot offers an exclusive training program for all (water) sports instructors, following the guidelines of the VeBON. The training takes place in the month of March, April, and May at our own location. It is mandatory to attend all training days and possibly training evenings.
Requirements
- Fluency in Dutch is a plus, as most of our students are from the Netherlands
- Experience in teaching kids
- Surfing skills, including the ability to surf down the line
